We stumbled upon this little gem yesterday early evening. Ohhh boy what a great find!!! We were greeted by a friendly gentleman Raul, whom ended up being our waiter. Service was impeccable, food was outstanding. From the house wine to the caprice salad to the presentation of meatball w/pasta oil/garlic to the cappuccino and the complementary cannoli for everyone at the table. Thank you for the great dining experience. Will return.

What a nice surprise! Great Italian food is a rarity in Florida. I consider myself expert on Italian food and a bit of a food snob. I eaten in the best restaurants all over the US and all of the great Italian ones from NY, Chicago and California.. The service was polite and attentive. I started my meal with the arugula salad with goat cheese and walnuts dressed with fresh lemon juice and olive oil. The arugula was crisp and fresh. Dressing just right. My Dad has then pasta fagioli. My dad said it was better than his grandmothers. I know that sounds crazy. But my dad is a food nut too. We shares an antipasto made with fresh grilled eggplant, home made roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, prosciutto, salami, Kalimata olives, and grilled mushrooms. Everything was fresh and plated perfectly. My main course was veal parmigiana and pasta. The veal was tended and lightly breaded. It was not buried in cheese. The sauce was light and flavorful. Tha pasta was al dente. My dad had veal francese. Again cooked just right. He had roasted vegetables. He commented that they were seasoned just right. The roasted potatoes the same. I had several glasses of wine. Very reasonably priced. The wine list although not extensive was decent. Dinner for 2 was $100. Not including tip. For a nice night out I really have to give this place recommendation.

My family and i were recently invited to my niece's graduation party. It took place in the outdoor garden area of the restaurant. We started with a hot and cold antipasto, then we were served salad, then pasta two different kind of pasta penne vodka and linguini with clams then two different kind of entree chicken francese and salmon genovese. Everything was served family style which i thought was a great option, we got to try everything and oh my! Not only were the portions huge but the food was unbelievably delicious!!

We sat outside and the weather was excellent. We had the mussels in wine sauce. The chicken piccata, osso buco, and grilled chicken with Cesar salad are tasty. Service was great. We will be back.

This was Don Alberto's restaurant and here comes new management. I hope to God they do something fresh and new on the menu; it's the same old same old we see on every so called Italian restaurant. It's boring as it is now; maybe they have the same cook; I dunno, but on the positive side all the staff were very friendly and that's a good start. They have only been open for eight weeks so I'm going to give them a chance to get their ducks in order.

Argentina style complete with white table cloths and Argentine waiters and owner. The food is very good and well prepared. There were three of us and we shared the fried calamari, the shrimp aioli and the tomato and mozzerella salad. All were well prepared and we sopped up the gravy from the Shrimp and olive oil from the salad until all the bread was gone....fortunately the waiter was gracious enough to bring more bread. For the main courses we had veal parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and a filet of fish francesca....all well cooked and nothing was left when we were finished...we washed it all down with a fill your mouth with flavor Malbec called "Stud"...of course from Mendoza where all real Malbec hail from. We finished our feast with a panqueque de dolce de leche....perfectly carmalized on the top and sinful

The homemade pasta is delicious! The sauce was fresh and simple, tomato, olive oil, garlic, basil . My husband ordered the noquis and he loved it. The dulce de leches tartufo for dessert was amazing. Don Alberto is always there smiling taking care of his customers. Excellent evening.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
